At UAF's Community and Technical College, expect training that is hands-on and job focused. Here are just a few examples of what you’ll learn as part of our facility maintenance program:

  • How to install and repair drywall, cabinets and countertops.
  • How to troubleshoot and maintain boilers and burners.
  • How to safely use hand and power tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • How to read basic construction and plumbing blueprints.
