Arctic Fest Information Session

Join us for a virtual information session on Oct. 26  from 4-6 p.m. where Arctic Fest co-organizers will share an overview of the festival and answer questions for interested individuals wishing to assist in planning next year’s event. All interested UAF personnel and community members are invited to attend!

Arctic Fest is a biennial community-wide festival that takes place in Fairbanks, ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥. The festival focuses on environmental-change research, innovation, and solutions in the circumpolar North combining the arts, sciences, and Indigenous cultural and knowledge systems. Arctic Fest is co-organized by UAF together with community-based partner organizations.

Arctic Fest 2024 will be held from Sept. 5-7, 2024.

The first ever Arctic Fest was held in September 2022 and featured art-science and Indigenous art exhibits, scientific research, workshops, tours, a live performance by Inuit soul band Pamyua, panel discussions, presentations, a puppet parade, and more.
