ACEP Offices
The ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Center for Energy and Power is located on the fourth floor of the Joseph E. Usibelli Engineering Learning and Innovation Building (JUB) on the University of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Fairbanks Campus. ACEP also has a team and office based in Anchorage.
Energy Technology Facility
The Energy Technology Facility (ETF) houses state-of-the- art laboratories, equipment and infrastructure to support ACEP’s applied research, including the Power Systems Integration laboratory and the hydrokinetics high-bay. The ETF is located on the UAF campus just west of the powerplant off Tanana Loop E.Test Sites and Laboratories
ACEP’s facilities are designed to offer a unique testing environment to technology developers, utility managers and other decision makers. Envisioned as an intermediate step to full commercial deployment, these facilities were carefully designed for a range of testing needs, enabling assessment of product performance based on many real world conditions.
